Conversion Procedures 

bulletBegin using R-12 Equipment
bulletInspect system for damage, failures, leaks
bulletRecover R-12 from system, perform system repairs
bulletInstall high pressure cutout switch*
bulletInstall new receiver/accum. drier if existing is over 12 months old**
bulletFor maximum system performance install 3oz ester lube***
bulletBegin using freeze 12 accessories and equipment
bulletInstall freeze 12 service port adapters
bulletDeep evacuate for 30-45 min.
bullet Charge system with 10% less freeze12 than R-12
bulletCheck system for leaks and proper operation
bulletInstall service label
bulletConversion is complete

*NOT REQUIRED IF A/C SYSTEM NOT EQUIPPED WITH HIGH PRESSURE
RELIEF VALVE
**RECOMMENDED OE SERVICE PROCEDURE FOR MOST A/C SYSTEMS
***IF INSTALLING A REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR CONTAINING AN
ESTER LUBRICANT, OMIT THIS STEP
